Funny thing is people think throwing punches in bunches against Rigo is easy the more you throw the more he hurts you, just look what happened to Donaire at the end of the fight when he went balls out sure he got a knockdown in a clinch but almost lost an eye after Rigo got up almost took him out. Agbeko played it smart and try to survive after he felt the power only way to make Rigo uncomfortable is to fight dirty make it ugly as **** idk if it still works but it used to on baby pro Rigo he would get very uncomfortable.
Santa Cruz's volume and underrated skill give Rigondeaux a real fight and I would love to see it. That being said, Leo's need to come forward to be effective is an impossible way to defeat Rigondeaux unless he has an absolute granite chin to go with his unreal stamina. I don't think he can take Rigo's power for 12 rounds, body and head shots at various angles and speeds.
There is a reason fighters quit coming at Rigondeaux after they feel a solid punch. He has real power and he hits so fast and so flush with his shots that he lands a 4 or 5 punch combo before you have your gloves up.
I got Rigondeaux in a TKO 8 victory, with Santa Cruz showing heart after getting up from a few KD's and his corner throwing in the towel. Leo might win 2-3 rounds, but after the midway point in the fight, it'll be apparent that Guillermo Rigondeaux is very special fighter.

Donaire's not a come forward fighter though. He's not the least bit good at it, let alone comfortable. Agbeko is a veteran near the end who isn't as willing to walk through punishment like he was in his prime.
Leo's young, a very good pressure fighter, fundamentally sound, and long. He has the attributes and the style to potentially make Rigondeaux uncomfortable, arguably more so than anyone else Rigo could fight. It's not like Rigo is invincible, as great as he is.

I love how people like you and NE keep downplaying Agbeko now. After the fact that Rigo made him look like a coward. The same thing you're saying about Santa Cruz now is the same thing yall said about Agbeko.
"He's long and has the work output to make Rigo uncomfortable."
