If you're holding that many belts at the pinnacle of the sport, then defend them properly. Consistently fight guys in the the division's top 10, preferably the upper half. Otherwise, vacate a couple of belts and give other fighters a chance to defend them properly.
Name me one guy besides David Haye and Povetkin that Wlad didn't fight promptly, as soon as they emerged as THE GUY to beat and was also a mandatory.

And those two guys who are the exception to the rule had their fair share of blame in delaying the fight, especially Alexander. There is really no basis for your criticism. The Pulev's, Fury's and Wilder's of the world have just emerged and in due time he will figh them all if they don't fight each other instead like they're supposed to.

granted but his upper body is huge. Wilder may be damaged by his success his last fight was the first time we actually got to see him fight honestly

based on what? is baldomir a great champ oh wait he actually was lineal for 2.5 seconds unlike vitali. what about shumenov is he a great champ because he beat a bunch of bums like willie joppy? hey vitali beat Shannon briggs that was worthwhile. oh don't worry his great wins like adamek who can't even beat Cunningham or chambers really hold up well.

vitali klitschko. haye and povetkin were never the "guys" simply because they didn't do anything. haye beat shot ruiz and barely beat Nicolay "I got schooled by 50 year holyfield" valuev. how was he a top guy? it's called hype. don't fall for it.

wlad only fights certain guys that suit his style. he won't fight guys like arreola or chisora because they bring pressure and he can't deal with it besides grabbing. he will take on the chagaevs and ibragimovs over and over cause they just stand there trying to jab. his brother vitali took out the pressure guys while wlad took out the boxer types. it was the perfect scheme.

The stop is at the Heavyweight division where it's all about being THE CHAMP, and you can't achieve that with WBC's policy. Do they really expect Wlad to sacrifice three belts (IBF, WBO, WBA) just to keep one belt (WBC), and have a bunch of vacant belts floating around with new contenders calling themselves Champions.

If anything, they will lose out with this policy and be a secondary Title in the division.
akinwande, moorer, sanders are just 3 guys who vacated the WBO belt to fight for a recognized world title. the WBO is a second rate organization. I hope he unifies or his opponent beats him to unify. I don't care if it is for one day until they start getting stripped. the WBO belt is as meaningful as the IBO... in many eyes the undisputed champion only needs to hold the WBC, WBA & IBF titles. as I said the WBO is a garbage belt. the heavyweight lineage goes back to johnny duplooy vs Francisco damiani. they fought for the original title in 1989 when mike Tyson held all 3 other belts... anyone under 30 years old may have the WBO belt overrated. many of us older fans know this where as many younger fans do not. it's not a bad thing but during my time watching the sport I saw how lightly regarded that belt always has been.

He's already undisputed unless you actually put stock into there being more than one world champion. No belt can make ANY fighter at heavyweight champion until they beat Wlad.

Well if a unification is to happen, Sillyman has to change the rules of his organization. It's not impossible at all, but it's not very likely. Sadly.
He'll do whats in the best interest of his bank account irregardless of his own rules. He always has. See the Jones-Roccigiano incindent, Chavezjr, all dealings with Don King and so on and so forth.

                    please get that belt, Wlad!
for all the whining about HW boxing, at least there's a real champ
Wlad's been the boss for yrs and has fought all challengers
there will be a whole separate HW division if the WBC is fractured
nobody will go anywhere near Wlad again
whoever ends up with that belt better fight Wlad immediately
don't want anymore fake, Povetkin-esque "title reigns"
