I noticed that too!!! I had blood taking the other day just for a checkup and they wore gloves. I like VADA and USADA, they good for sport, but this is looking bad here. Live and learn but they should have known this already

dumb.. he got caught and it was THEIR fault.. unprepared or prepared for the test,he still cheated, even if they made him piss into a glass cup, jug, or gatorade bottle, smh

There is something called protocol that you have to follow, you don't make someone piss in a glass cup then transfer it to a regular cup then transfer it to the plastic container it was suppose to be in initially, that's utterly ridiculous.
If that is what VADA did then Rios is 100% correct and he gets a full pass from me, because like he said the Chinese followed protocol and he came up negative.

To all you posters saying that he is trying to insinuate that someone must of planted the banned substance in the drinking glass, that's not what he's saying , he's simply saying that they didn't follow protocol by making him piss in a glass. He very well knew he probably took something illegal BUT Vada still has to follow protocol on testing, if they don't his test results are invalid.
Example: Someone commits a crime and is caught in the act of committing the crime BUT they are NEVER read their Miranda rights then while in court that charge will be thrown out, Why? Because law enforcement didn't follow protocol

So if he was dirty or not, Vada still has to follow protocol..
And then again Rios could be lying, we'll see.....

Rios not consenting to get the B sample tested is su****ious. As if he consented to pee in a glass (if true) so he can attack the protocol in the case that he gets caught.

As far as the Chinese commission test coming back negative, how many times have we argued how incompetent NSAC tests are? Now the Chinese suppose to be better? M'kay.

This is a good point you've brought up.

One thing about VADA is that they aren't the most professional in regards to how they get samples. They've left themselves wide open for this sort of criticism or excuse for a false positive. Below is footage of VADA having Rios take a piss into a container in PUBLIC back in China, in front of everyone right next to the ring. And then below that, is also a clip where they are taking his blood sample, back in America, right out in the open, in front of everyone, right next to the RING.

I'm sure there are more discreet ways to obtain a urine sample. However, VADA would probably say in it's defense that such open, impromptu sample gathering is a way for them to assure that the sample is authentic. As a matter of fact, I think their mantra is "Anytime, anywhere." There certainly is little doubt that particular sample came from Brandon Rios, and it was untampered at that point.

The way it's supposed to be done is you take the athlete to a more private area, and have the sample taken there. That's just as authentic, and it's more professional. You are supposed to bring the athlete to a more sterile environment, to also protect the authenticity of the samples. And sterile is the key word. A sterile environment is not a table with a whole bunch of random **** on it, and right next to a BOXING ring (which is a haven for all sorts of bacteria and whatnot exist).

Anywhere, anytime does not mean taking samples regardless of the environment, regardless of how ****** the area is, etc. Anytime, anywhere does not mean not putting on gloves from start to finish either.

rios did it here all through out the camp not popped for nothing till the end in the hotel room

the glass thing is the problem

and i think you can choose to go to a more secluded place, locker room, toilets etc
rios is just the type of guy that will pull his **** out right in the middle of everyone
