If protcol was not followed the test are invalid no matter how correct they might be.

And DMAA is a Stimulant used in Energy Drinks (not in the U.S. anymore but still in china).

So it is very possible trace amounts can be on a glass that at one point had a energy drink in it.

While I doubt the "cup" had the banned substance in it, if they really did have him pee in a non sterile cup, then they fcuked up.

The tests will almost certainly be considered invalid if it went to appeal. Also why isn't rios asking for the B sample?

Thats what it comes down to. He could have had actual anabolic steroids in his system but if they fuced up the testing procedure than its all invalid. Shame.

Here's a summary of the past few months wit rios.

Talked crap all pre-fight long about retiring pac, got deconstructed. made up excuses. got caught cheating. made even more excuses.

That is why their should be some skepticism, especially if the sample was not taken appropriately or properly.

I don't care about Rios, I am just mentioning my experience with testing. To those who have never gone through it, they wouldn't know any better, and will probably believe the results as if they were gospel.

But I know I didn't do *******, and yet it came back positive. And hair samples are supposedly very accurate and can go back a lot further than urine or even blood samples. But their you have it; never did coke but yet positive on a test.

One thing about VADA is that they aren't the most professional in regards to how they get samples. They've left themselves wide open for this sort of criticism or excuse for a false positive. Below is footage of VADA having Rios take a piss into a container in PUBLIC back in China, in front of everyone right next to the ring. And then below that, is also a clip where they are taking his blood sample, back in America, right out in the open, in front of everyone, right next to the RING.

Also notice as Rios was quiet as a mouse for a couple days after the failed test... waited for the full results just incase he got popped for something else too lmao. His pea brain took a few days to devise an "elaborate" excuse. I can't stand fighters like rios who always have an excuse for everything
