I do Urine/drug screens daily as a part of my job- these ****ing test that claim to be 98% accurate and it's not true- we switched several times and pretty much tried all the popular manufactures- I would say 1/30 are off/don't give accurate results* It would be nice if they tested fighters/boxers at least 3 different ways/companies to be fair

Unfortunately having some ilicit stuff in your body does not make you fight smarter or make you better. Rios is a miniture Margarito in fighting style....

They are supposed to be very thorough in how they do these things, leaving very little to no room for athletes to make accusations or excuses like that.

Rios is basically saying in other words, his piss was probably contaminated because of how unprofessional they were in getting his sample. It should never come to that. Rios could be full of sh#t, but they gave his this escape.
VADA hopefully will learn from this and do better. They're still good for the sport and I trust their testing more than USADA. I think Travis Tygart is politically influenced. So far they've only caught the obvious stuff like in Morales' case and he still ended up getting in the ring and fighting after testing positive.

I'm betting the urine in Rios bottle belongs to Pacroid. We all know Rios was tested leading up to the fight but no one heard of any test the real juicer took. ...

Interesting take on things. Hadn't heard this perspective before.

But VADA is basically run by Victor Conte. Conte is the mastermind behind them. So if you want to talk about trustworthiness, is Victor Conte more trustworthy than Travis Tygart? The answer is no. Conte is less trustworthy. Much less.

And the NY Commission should've prevented the Morales fight (because they knew of the positive result before fight night).

Go back to Page 8 of the thread. Right there is evidence regarding VADA's lack of professionalism (i.e., not using gloves properly, having an athlete take a piss in public right next to the ring, taking samples on tables that had tons of random stuff on it, etc). So when Rios claims that VADA had him piss into a glass, it is most likely true based on the ridiculous things they've already done in footage captured leading up to the fight.

Honestly him testing positive to DMAA is just as relevant as him testing positive to marijuana. It really wouldn't effect his performance at all in the fight nor would it give him an unfair advantage.

It sucks because he will have to pay a fine, but to consider him a cheater for it is ridiculous
