In both fights, punches landed were identical. Remember Taylor's jab is like a power punch. You had to look at the fact that Taylor built a lead early. The thing with the Taylor-Hopkins fights was that Hopkins outlanded Taylor overall in power punches landed, but scoring it round by round you would score a close fight.

I would love to go back and watch the fights but the quality is so ugly, I would get heart attack watching such crap quality.

Even if you disagree with the decisions, they were close fights and competing neck and neck with Bernard Hopkins during his monster run was certainly something that a hype job couldn't do.

A lot of respect here for Taylor. To be clear I respect all the fighters I listed, Taylor being the most accomplished of the bunch.
My critisism was toward the media hype machine, not the fighters. I guess that got lost in translation. There is a history of prematurely raising a fighters profile with these fighters beyond what they had achieved at the time.
I don't hate on or have any hatred toward any fighters, boxing is a sport I love and I have nothing but respect for all those who compete and put their health and even lives on line.

Don't put these bums in the same sentence as Taylor who has a resume none of them will ever achieve and fought true ATG's back to back to back to back

Jeff Lacy is so much worse than all of the others.

There was never a solid backing from th media that said broner had next. It was mostly golden boy. This thread uses the word "American" when the op really just means "black". Broner was a golden boy hype job and that's about it. To single those guys out especially Taylor is very telling of how dumb the ops agenda is. Hype jobs exist in every country in the world but u feel th need to single out a few guys who didn't live up to it. Full broner but this is just ******. Lts concentrate on hatin on broner ***** ass and leave the other b.s out of it

Even if Crawford got KO'd next year, who would actually care? Nobody is really hyping him up like the other dudes the TS made the thread about.
