As Taylor being my favorite fighter for a while...I'm glad he gets some respect for what he did...I was literally appalled that he was called a "hype job". Considering the flaws he did have, the fact he was able to mask them and win/compete at a top level for as long as he did was impressive.

I agree with you guys, Taylor was not a bum by any stretch. I think he is a little less than what he once was confidence wise but he beat a "prime" Hopkins twice and those wins were very impressive.

I remember yelling at my TV during the froch vs Taylor fight, at the time I hated froch(now I respect him) all he had to do was finish the round and he would have won. Who knows what would have become of Taylor if he would have hung on.

I understand no one has a crystal ball and all you can do is make an educated guess about a fighters prospects. But come on!
If anyone should be being backed as the future to the level these guys were it should be Andre ward and Rigo, say what you want about their less than crowd pleasing styles. The likelihood is though that they will be dominant for a the foreseeable future.
