Point being Manny needs to do what he does and put the pressure on without getting picked apart to win. Floyd will need to box and step on the gas to win, thats why the style match up is interesting. Both guys will be forced to do something that isn't assured to have a desired outcome.
If Manny can box Floyd into a mistake he may have a chance, canelo and his people felt the same way and even said "He was never there to be had" or something like that, Manny will have the same problem.
Manny has the skill, he doesn't seem to have the patience and if he makes even one mistake trying he will be punished. However, if he can box Floyd to the point that Floyd has to force a brawl Manny could capitalize and have a chance to land the big shot.
People assume it will be a brawl from the opening bell, if either fought like a lunatic it would cost whomever did so the fight, Manny will have to box to win and Floyd will have to take chances to win and be offensive minded, in order for Manny to put Floyd in that position he will have to box flawlessly to set it up. Likewise if Floyd box Manny into trouble he will have to step on the gas and try to get him out of there because a dangerous puncher is unpredictable and even giving a puncher a second wind could prove costly.
Assuming Manny is so confident that he will jump in like a madman is what could cost Manny the fight, Manny will need to do more than just come ready to throw punches, he will have to be prepared to spot the opportunity and capitalize on it when it presents itself.
