How is broner better offensively on the inside than floyd? I havent seen it. Broner is more comfortable moving foward than he is moving back but fighting in the pocket? No. Why u think he kept shoving maidana back to get punches off?

becuase you see broner land combinations compared to floyd who you barely see throw combos becuase of the other hand tied up to his defense, thats why ...

          1. Your assessment of their abilities is incorrect; Mayweather is better offensively on the inside.

          2. Your condescension falls flat. In order to school someone with a series of questions that lead to an obvious answer, the questions have to actually provide a clear answer. Using percentages without a base unit makes it impossible to identify the overall difference. If Broner was very poor defensively then being 90% better wouldn't amount to much; however if Mayweather was very good offensively Broner being 60% better would mean a lot.

Yes, and I lamented this inevitability countless times here on this forum during the months and weeks in the leadup to Mayweather vs. Canelo. It was amusing seeing Canelo lose when it finally came. Him and his team were clueless. They deserved to lose with their foolishness and arrogance.

Exactly, people still seem to think Broner is anything like Floyd...and as for Maidana Canelo....they're not close at all. Canelo is better than Maidana and Floyd is far far superior to Broner.

Floyd's greatest asset is his ring IQ and ability to adjust. He has a solid game plan and if it's not working he changes it to what he feels will. He transitions from defense to offense almost flawlessly. He's learned something from every match he's had and is getting better at it. Cotto won 3 rounds...if that's an accomplishment that really shows you how little of a chance Maidana would have. Maidana has less power, is slower, and less skilled than Canelo...styles aren't similar either. Please someone explain how everyone wants to make comparisons after the Broner fight about Floyd matchups I'm dying to hear it.

Floyd's far better inside and miles better outside. Having slightly more raw power doesn't make you a better inside fighter.

floyd can actually move in every direction, has longer reach, faster. thats why its harder to do that to him.

broner isnt great any of that.

Canelo would have needed a gun to beat mayweather that day

I'll say it like I told my friend during the fight. The only similarities between floyd & broner is they're black & fight out of the shell. Floyd uses thinking, skill, good footwork, and head movement. Broner relies totally on athleticism. What got broner was that he thought he could rely on that bully style and take his opponent's best shot while walking him down, but he finally felt that true ww power. Floyd's approach would be nothing like that. He would stick and move instead of standing there taking shots. And as much as we knock him for not having power, he has enough to make his opponents respect him and not bulldoze through him.
