With that said, I believe that Conte did claim to have played some role in VADA's founding. Whether this is true, to what extent, and what role this plays currently in VADA's business, is unknown.
Conte could very well have exaggerated his history with VADA for self-promotion, no?
Was it not made clear (I don't remember when) that Conte is NO LONGER part of VADA?
Regarding Conte's knowledge of VADA's testing protocols, i.e., testing for stimulants around fight time, and not earlier: Do you know if only VADA does this, or if this is standard practice for people who follow WADA/USADA standards? This could very well be common practice, and therefore common knowledge, for people in the industry, which Conte certainly was.
Even if we were to assume that Conte is familiar with protocols that may be unique to VADA, well...so what?
Are you claiming that Margaret Goodman, VADA's president, former Nevada ringside physician and Ring magazine columnist, is tainted by her association--the extent of which is unknown--with Conte? Are you questioning her credibility?
