cheating is cheating. to cut weight or to be stronger it's cheating. I'm sure these rules and drugs banned are for the health of the fighters. I'm pretty sure popping pills to lose weight does not sound healthy at all. And It's not fair to opponent who does follow the rules set in the first place and loses the weight naturally. If you don't like the rules, don't join the sport. And if you join the sport, FOLLOW THE RULES. You cheat, and you still lose. BEAUTIFUL!

How in the Fck do you go up in weight and still need a diuretic..I don't believe Ariza gave him this, I really have a feeling Rios messed up. If you watch 24/7 he's complaining to his wife that she's not making fried foods and whines about it..this guy probably went with his regular diet against advisement and then realized he was off track and tried to pull a fast one. If you look at him at the weigh-in his face was gaunt as hell and now we know it seems like he tried a quick dry out....either way...sit him down for a year maybe he'll take the time to mature.

I'm tired of these dietary drugs being banned. It obviously does not help Rios become a better fighter so what the hell? Unless it's a masking agent or something. I don't know much about banned drugs but this is ridiculous, they should let fighters take dietary drugs to make weight as long as it is not a masking agent.

I believe one of the main reasons diuretics are banned is because they can be used for the purpose of masking other PEDs and also for the safety of the fighter that's using it since they have plenty of side effects. I'm not an expert on them either though, it's just some stuff I've read in the past.
