I'm not trying to be an expert smart ass. All I'm saying is that they're taking more of a financial hit by giving it a PPV level promotion and a beefed up undercard than they would have, no matter how bad the PPV numbers would have been. Common sense kinda dictates that they appear to be willing to take the hit they're gonna take Sat to invest on the kid's future earning potential.

Broner should beat MM if he fights smart, MM's strong & 1 dimensional, don't fight as he did vs Malagnaggi...he loses 2 Keith as every 1 but FM @ '47...if Keith was a bit bigger physically 2 go 2 '54 out goes Alvarez & Cotto...+ Kirkland...look @ Thurman's stamina, far superior 2 Kirk & Cotto is limited @ this point in his career & 2 try & body shot Keith is falling in2 his strength ...

I agree i think Broner should be able to handle Maidana fairly easy....

AB would pick Thurman apart. Thurman is average at best from a skills standpoint. He's not a natural fighter, much like Jermain Taylor. He has to think before everything he does and does very lil on instinct. And he's not close to being fluid in the ring. Actually, he looks clumsy at times. He would have a puncher's chance against AB. But outside of that, I see AB beating this guy 8-4 9-3. And the only way Thurman would make it close is by scring KDs.
He's got size, footwork and a very good chin too as well as the power.

The Ponce fight could have gone either way, much like Floyd-Castillo I. I have no ssues with anyone who thinks either guy won. As for Paulie, still don't see how people thought AB came even close to losing that one.

He's a big welterweight. Buts not really a tall guy. As for his footwork, its decent. Probably better than AB's. But every time I watch Thurman he looks clumsy to me. And doesn't do a lot on instinct. He seems almost robotic at times. But yes, he can hit. So it would be an interesting lil scrap. But I think AB would be a solid favorite.
