Comments Thread For: Keith Thurman Wants His Chance To Beat Adrien Broner

Broner seems very open to the body, Thurman won his last fight via bodyshot stoppage against a bigger opponent. It's also not good for Adrien that KT has shown an ability to fight on the backfoot, Broner doesn't fare particularly well with movers. Broner hasn't really been chin-checked yet either, although I expect Maidana to land some solid punches. At this point, I like Thurman in the bout but he has a job with Karass this weekend first. He's a big welterweight. Buts not really a tall guy. As for his footwork, its decent. Probably better than AB's. But every time I watch Thurman he looks clumsy to me. And doesn't do a lot on instinct. He seems almost robotic at times. But yes, he can hit. So it would be an interesting lil scrap. But I think AB would be a solid favorite.Comment

Its an interesting fight. You can make arguments on both sides. I'm just not sure how willing. GBP would be right now to set either back right now. If the fight is made. I think its an indicator that they aren't sold on one or both as future stars. I think its a lot more likely that Guerrero and Ortiz will be the next opponents for them. Guerrero has already said no to Thurman. And AB is a bigger payday. Plus they could sell the bad blood between the two. So I expect it to be AB-Ghost and Thurman-Ortiz. Possibily on the same card again.Broner seems very open to the body, Thurman won his last fight via bodyshot stoppage against a bigger opponent. Why? Cause he switched his style up cause he was fighting a hard puncher?Originally posted by Young StriblingIf I remember correctly, Thurman looked bad in his last outing. Wooden and awkward.
