It's times like these I miss a prime Punisher.

Using that word and saying he wasn't on their radar are 2 different things my dude.

The thread is funny as ****, it is an appreciation to the punisher then comes the ducking post.

        Truth and facts:

floyd was the one who clearly ducked the punisher, remember the fake retirement

When pac arrived at welter, the punisher was at jmw and mw. These are plain facts that dumbos are not aware of

Williams would have probably come gone down to flyweight to get a Pacquiao fight, weight was not the issue.

Paul Williams never established himself well enough to be a shot caller, so I don't see how he's used to knock Ward or Mayweather. Also, Ward will eventually clash with Stevenson or Kovalev, it's really a matter of when.

If he was, he'd probably be doing the exact same thing.
I literally made my comment without seeing this, glad this was established early in the thread, well said.

Yet at times he did try to be a shot caller. Lest we forget the Sergio Martinez rematch situation. When he finally did sign it, he demanded a catchweight when Sergio was the champion.

Cotto was the one everyone wanted Mayweather to fight at that point, not Williams. Nobody was talking about Paul Williams because it was viewed as such an unrealistic fight, whereas Mayweather-Cotto was a legitimate super fight.

I say it mostly because posters love to say Cotto ducked Paul Williams and that's an outright lie. Made me expose my hidden agenda.
He should have stayed at 147 for longer, a big fight would've found his way to him eventually, he'd have destroyed Cotto for sure though.

I remember Lara smacking Williams with that left and getting robbed.
