How Bradley came back and performed against Ruslan was more impressive IMO than Riongdeaux staying in 1st gear for the whole fight against Agbeko.

Rigo deserves consideration,, but so does danny garcia, adonis stevenson

all three had a great year,, plus so did floyd and bradley so its really a crowded field this year

It doesn't matter if you're 20, 30,40, 50 or 60 you don't get into FOTY contention for beating those two fighters.
I guess....I can't imagine any other 48/49 year old beating either of those guys let alone both.

Because Bernard Hopkins isn't your average 48 year old. He's a 48 year old that's still world class. He's managed to turn back the clock.

And a world class fighter beating those fighters doesn't put you in contention for FOTY when there's so many others beating better fighters.

Hopkins doesn't get a pass because he can get a discount at Denny's.

            True legend, first ballot HOF'er.

But he doesn't belong in this years FOTY discussion.

Rigo outclassed a p4p future hall of fame fighter. He then shut out a good former champion. He is the fighter of the year and it's not really close.

I'm surprised how much stock people put into Stevenson's KO of Dawson.

Edit: Actually Bradley is close. Especially considering how he got his wins. One in a brawl and another in a technical chess match.

I wouldnt have a problem with either Rigo or Adonis as they've both had a great year. Rigo's win over Donaire was outstanding so he would get my vote.

Rigo dominated Agbeko but if that was Floyd fighting a guy coming vb up in weight who hadn't fought in forever, no one would rate it.

Should be Rigo, Floyd, Garcia, or Bradley.

I think Rigo deserves it but i get a feeling Stevenson is going to get it
That's not true at all. It was 50-50 around here.

Has to be Rigo or Bradley. Personally I don't get how it could be anyone besides Rigondeaux. GTFO out of here with Adonis Stevension or Floyd. It'd be horribly wrong if either of them won it.
