  • Rigondeaux is clearly Fighter of the Year

Total Domination of a pound 4 pound Donaire, last years Fighter of the year, took his soul, and an absolute shut out against a world class fighter in Agbeko is better than anyone else accomplished this year.

    Runner up: Stevenson.

Agree NO ONE thought Rigo was gonna beat Donaire. And of course Donaire was 2012 fighter of the year.

I think Rigo deserves it but i get a feeling Stevenson is going to get it

Nah man. The only notable victory came against Nonito where he still got put down and he's been booed in most of his fights for boring performances.

In my honest opinion, it is between Mikey Garcia and/or Golovkin. They have had truly amazing perfomances, breakout year while doing so in impressive action packed fashion.

Against who? And Rigo hasn't been booed in "most of his fights". Stop lying.

I think so too. Great year for Stevenson but if we dissect it Dawson was coming off a TKO loss, Cloud was just embarrassed by 74 year old Hopkins and Bellew is Bellew.

I love Golovkin and Garcia but neither beat a top 5 pound 4 pound fighter. Good years NOT FOTY worthy. Same goes for Kovalev.

What argument is there for Garcia over Rigo?

                They both had 2 fights.

Donaire is a better win then Matthysse

Judah and Agbeko are ehhhhh similar I guess.

Rigo only lost one clear round against his 2 opponents whereas Garcia had a close fight with Matthysse and lost some rounds late against Judah.

Kovalev would deserve it more than Golovkin.

What about Kovalev? I personally feel his run was just as impressive as Stevensons.

I mean are Bellew, Boone, Dawson, Cloud really any better than Cleverly, Sillakh, White & Campillo?

I think all four beat Boone, Bellew & Cloud myself (in fact Cleverly beat Bellew & Campillo >Cloud)
