Quality wise in opposition he is the breakout star not only did he beat the guys he beat he took their soul and if he took 10 punches combined it's a lot. Fighters just do not like to engage after Rigo lands flush. But lets be honest no way Rigo gets it for political and serious f@gotry reasons.

He deserves it based on that Donaire win alone no one has a better win all year. The way he beat and completely dominated Agbeko was just incredible . This guy has definetely proved he's one of the best in the sport top 5 at least, and gtfoh calling him boring.

No one is claiming Mikey is FOTY, but Agbeko isn't the guy to put anybody over the FOTY hump.

Dude hasn't had a legit win 3-4 years, but now were making Rigo FOTY because he beat Agbeko, if Rigo is gonna become it's gonna be for 1 reason and 1 reason only, and that's the Donaire win.
