& kovalev gets fighter of the year for knocking out a trash cleverly? Cleverly had beatin no one & really lost to Bellew. Campillo is a good win but no where near donaire.

    don't even mention golovkin..........

Yes clearly. Golovkin and Kovalev are OUT. Neither beat a pound 4 pound guy.

Stevenson beat two guys coming off bad losses.

Garcia beat Matthysse (good win) but not even close to equaling that of Donaire and he beat old ass zab judah.

Mayweather? Beat a ginger kid who nearly lost to Trout in a corrupt "open scoring" fight and won his title from Matthiew Hatton. Who else did Floyd beat? Guerrero? Nyet!

      Easy conclusion: Rigondeaux

He definitely gets fighter of the year in the "40 years of age and up" category!

Rigo had the best win this year, but Agbeko was nothing special even if he did shut him out. Had he beaten Donaire and two Agbeko level type guys, I'd say he was a lock.

But since you have Rigo's nuts in your mouth, tell EVERYBODY what Agbeko has done in the past 3 years.
dude, I'm going through the fighters that sum of you feel deserve fighter of the year over rigo. mickey no.....(i don't give a d@mn about him fighting salido. because he quit) and lopez was one of the most meaningless fights. (lopez was a shell of himself and only had a name left to his career) thats all. he gets very little credit for lopez in my opinion.

This was a case of Agbeko making himself look more pathetic then Rigo did. There were actually several rounds where he didnt even land punches. You're giving too much credit jut because he was once a "name"

Dude hasn't had a legit win 3-4 years, but now were making Rigo FOTY because he beat Agbeko, if Rigo is gonna become it's gonna be for 1 reason and 1 reason only, and that's the Donaire win.

Good enough. Give Rigo his due props he is flawless.

Agbeko has NEVER looked pathetic like that before and shelled up that is clearly a case of Rigondeaux making him look bad. It's a solid win not great but again combine that with Donaire and he's the fighter of the year. I already broke down the other possible candidates (garcia stevenson floyd etc) and none can match Rigo's year.

When you think of "Fighter of the Year", you think of a fighter who who had a year everyone will remember for the ages. No one will remember the Agbeko fight.
