Alphabet titles mean squat also, peewee. Consider the state of boxing. You can blame the alphabet system for it.

ODLH: Fought Sturm for WBO as his first Middleweight fight then Hopkins for 3 more.

Tito: Fought Joppy for the WBA then Hopkins for the rest of em' as his first 2 fights at Middleweight.

Corrales: Fought Casamayor for the WBO then his next fight for the WBO and WBC for his first 2 fights at Lightweight.

PBF: See above similar statements then attained the WBC from Gatti.

Also, your argument refers to the little guys. I've never seen a big guy been rated so high when moving up in weight, especially when the weight is much more important once you go higher.

THe WBC is recognized as the best belt in almost everybody's eyes, hence the reason I pointed out those people in particular as to prove a point. If you wanted me to throw in more than that I could've made a list of virtually 1/2 the titlefights in the past decade most likely.
