    Tua Backs Out!!

An enraged Shannon Briggs has contacted ********* to announce that David Tua has reportedly pulled out of their SHOWTIME-televised showdown, scheduled for April 1. “I've lost all respect for David Tua,” claimed Briggs. “This was a great opportunity for both of us and he ruined it. As far as I'm concerned at this point in his career Tua has become a coward, nothing more and nothing less. He's afraid to fight me and he cost me a lot of money!" Briggs’ frustration stems from the number of opponents he says have accepted, and then rejected high-profile fights against him. “I don't know why this keeps happening to me. First Vinny Maddalone accepted and backed out at the last minute, then Calvin Brock accepted and backed out and now Tua is chickening out. It's very frustrating. I'm going to fight Chris Koval for the USBA and NABA titles next. The fight has been postponed twice and I don't want to jerk this guy around the way they did me. Unfortunately for Koval, I'm going to take my frustrations out on him. I want to thank Showtime for the efforts to make this fight and I hope to be on Showtime again soon.”

I will stand by my bets for alittle while longer just incase Tua suddenly grows some balls.

....The good news is that Peter/Briggs is back in the picture and looks like it may get done. That's a better fight anyway because Tua is a lifeless turd.

...Yeah, I see that. Do you still have Briggs if it's Briggs/Peter?? Somehow I doubt that.

Well at first I thought Tua was serious about his comeback, but I guess not. Don't call him a coward though, he just doesn't have it in him to be a fighter anymore, like Vitali, both guys pulled out of fights and I'm sure Tua will find some excuse, much the way Vitali did.

You find any boxing insider and they'll say that Vitali didn't have it in him anymore, both mentally and physically, the same goes for Tua, that doesn't make them cowards though.

Wrong!! To agree to fight and then back out of the fight for no reason makes you a coward. I can see if there was an injury or something of that nature, but this is just pathetic.

So you think Vitali is a coward too, did he have 4 consecutive injuries, he postponed the fight 4 times. What if Tua has a damn good reason? What will you say then?
