I really like the guy and I know it's not his fault but I gave no interest in this fight.

Mora deserved a shot more than Stevens did. I'd like to see this fight but HBO would probably reject it and I doubt Mora is willing to go to Monte Carlo for short money.

Broner an up and comer lol, he's a 3 division champion and already ranked #5 P4P by The Ring even though the best fighter he beat is Malignaggi.

I'm surprised that Kovalev was able to get the fights he got, especially Cleverly. Maybe it's because he looks sloppier and more one dimensional than GGG so the promoters underestimate him and let their guys get in the ring with him.

It is a shame, but hopefully we get some decent fights in the States later. I've got a strong su****ion Murray - Golovkin will be announced shortly after Monte Carlo assuming they both get by their opponents.

GGG runs into the problem that the Euro/Aus contenders can get as much (or nearly so) fighting each other for the IBF belt, with a far more realistic chance of winning. Barker, Geale, Sturm p'haps Soliman have no need whatsoever to fight GGG as their respective markets give them a good living and a decent chance at a belt.

This was last years strategy by GGG's team. He fought in Monte Carlo and HBO didn't carry it, he'll still have 3 big HBO fights. Someone will fight him, when the money is right, it'll get done.

As long as GG's fans are satisfied with this b.s, that's what counts right? #Sick

I assume they see how quickly all his fights are over and assume their fighter can just last past that threshold and beat Kovalev when he tires. We'll see if it starts getting harder for the man now that he's a name.

I don't understand why people are complaining. This is almost like a training, side fight to keep GGG busy. It doesn't prove anything but it give an opportunity for fans to enjoy.
You can just pretend like this is gym sparring session - it's not on TV anyway.

Would you mind to see Floyd fighting 2-3 times more per year regardless of the opponent.

Who ever his handlers are they are doing a brilliant job of killing his career. Keep feeding Golovkin fish....the guy is NOT getting any younger. I expect his legacy to be a "Great Amateur Career and an UNPROVEN Professional Career."
Quickly losing interest in this fighter. Next!

So now it would be nice if GGG got the same treatment from fans and media. Otherwise it shows double standards.
Golovkin's not getting 2 million from HBO to fight this guy.

We'll see what happens after this guy, when HBO will be paying to show Golovkin fight. We'll see if any of these other middleweights will step up like Macklin did.
