He's an @$$h0le, but he's fighting a a very dangerous opponent in Marcos Maidana in his 2nd fight in the Welterweight Division. He's already a 3x Division Champion. He defeated the no.1 ranked Lightweight last year.

I love to see the Golovkin hype train ends once he fights a legit threat. Dude is KO'ing bums, and fighting smaller boxers. If he wants a good competition, he needs to move up to 168. Pirog and Martinez are still recovering from their injuries.
Do you know it took Hagler 7 years and 50 fights to become middleweight champion?

He took a lot of "Stay busy fights" as well. You have to stay active until the opportunity.

People complain about fighters fighting once or twice a year, then GGG does it.
WTF do people want him to do? Sit and wait?
He's already offered to fight so many other fighters and they were clearly turning him down.

When the cost outweighs the risk. These matchups are telling us how his handlers feel. They're speaking to us.

What more dangerous fights are they passing on?

His handlers are paying his opponents near the same amount as him.
I know, lets pay them more than him
