Because Adama is a ****ing Bum. People were hating on Andre Ward when he picked Edwin Rodriguez as his next opponent .ER is way better than all of the past opponents of Golovkin.

Very few people gave Ward a hard time for picking Edwin. They where harder on him when he wanted Traux as the opponent.

Now you act as if Adama was the first choice. Murray was the first choice and he declined. Geale already turned down GGG and is looking at a domestic fight. HBO said they wouldn't put it on TV. That also made the opponent list limited. So Adama who gave Geale a tough fight was picked.

Promoters such as Dibellia and Hearn have said they will keep there fighters away from Golovkin.

But you already knew this. You just wanted to troll.

        • The guy is almost 32 yrs.old. He's not getting younger any more. People are so hard on 24 yrs.old. Adrien Broner in this forum. He's an @$$h0le, but he's fighting a a very dangerous opponent in Marcos Maidana in his 2nd fight in the Welterweight Division. He's already a 3x Division Champion. He defeated the no.1 ranked Lightweight last year.

I love to see the Golovkin hype train ends once he fights a legit threat. Dude is KO'ing bums, and fighting smaller boxers. If he wants a good competition, he needs to move up to 168. Pirog and Martinez are still recovering from their injuries.

Actually a lot of posters on here were critical of the choice. And even Larry Merchant was badmouthing Ward after the bout for "taking easy fights."

So now it would be nice if GGG got the same treatment from fans and media. Otherwise it shows double standards.

He's a middleweight, Macklin and GGG are practically the same size. He walks into the ring at 170. He's fighting for the most part guys in own size. Broner was beating up on smaller guys. Even he called himself a bully. He moved up because he couldn't make the weight anymore. GGG easily makes 160. Completely different situations. There's a bunch of fighters lined up to fight Broner. Golovkin has been chasing top fighters for years.

If Golovkin went up and beat Stegilitz or for a title he would get crapped on. Kinda how Broner took crap for the Paulie fight.

You nitpicking. Most gave Ward credit for facing a dangerous guy off a layoff. I was paying attention to both sides. Way more credit than criticism.

Why would he get crapped on? Beating Stieglitz would be the best win of his career up to this point. Sadly.

It would be seen picking on the weakest titlist. Broner and Ward can get anyone they want. Not counting promotional issues. Golovkin has to hunt them down. Why we acting like this is the same thing?

It's actually kinda true. His best win so far was against a past his prime Kassim Ouma.
