Are The Klitschkos Some of The Worst Heavyweight Champions Of All Time?

No, a weaker era combined with their boring style makes people think they are ****, but in reality they are very effective.
Vitali would have beaten Lennox Lewis most likely in a rematch, and he would have been a competitive challenge for the likes of may other ATG's, some of which he would beat, some he would loose against.
So no, just because a guy dosnt have explosive power, but instead uses endurance and intelligence, dosnt make him ineffective.
Just imagine Ali in Vitalis era post Tyson, I dont think he would have been as popular as an ATG in this era.
I think Tyson has made us all spoilt whores. Weve had so much excitement nothing gets us going anymore.Last edited by AlexKid; 12-03-2013, 02:58 AM.

They catch a lot of flack, but thats the reality of dominating any era, all your competition looks like garbage because they never get a chance to shine. It happened with Larry Holmes as well, who in retrospect was quite an excellent fighter. People talked **** about Joe Louis when he cleaned out the division.
Ali is a rare exception because he was forced to sit out and his rivals were given a chance to make names for themselves.
Neither of the Klits have ducked anyone, they have vanquished all challengers decisively, most barely winning rounds, and getting knocked out.
They have fought legitimate fighters like David Haye, Chris Areola, Eddie Chambers, Thomas Adamak, Lennox Lewis, Alexander Povetkin and many more.
None of them have been able to compete with the Klits, Wlad is an Olympic Gold medalist like many of the contemporary greats. Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Lennox Lewis.
Ive never liked their fans, they are quite annoying, but as fighters, they are great in my book.

Wilder definitely looks like a world beater with 30 stoppages in as many fights.. none going past 4rds... I don't care who you've fought.... even guys fighting complete tomatoe cans in the amateurs would be hard pressed to duplicate that statistic... until somebody survives his power past the fourth we have to assume his power is real regardless of comp... we can laugh about Deontay all we want but the fact that no one ever started there career in this type of fashion is to give him the benefit of the doubt without any doubt.
Funny how the Klitschko's are being vilified in the same exact manner Deontay is despite having all the championship pedigree to fall back on... to hear some of you.. IT'S as if the Klitschko's & Wilder are one & the same.
The last bold doesn't make sense.

3)Never had he won a fight or had a fight where he was outjabbed.. outlanded & outthrown in EVERY rd that was fought.
4) Never before was he beaten to the punch in such lopsided fashion.
5) Never before did he leave a bout knowing he was the inferior fighter without a lucky punch or two being landed on his jaw.

Well he was the huge favorite fighting in his adopted home country with enormous size advantages. But the fact remains he only landed 8 more punches the entire fight. Scores at the time of quittage didn't reflect how close the rounds really were.

Vitali's greatest moment was a competitive loss to an ATG. Other than that he has done the job against B level fighters but unfortunately he has no great win. ask a Vitali fan who is the best fighter he beat and they can't answer short of possibly firing out a string of B level heavyweights.
Wlad has done well in fairness to him, his resume is starting to look half decent at this stage but he is BOOOORING. You want to get somebody interested in boxing? Whatever u do don't show them the heavyweight champion of the world or that will be the end of that.
