I'm struggling for an analogy. 2 Ferrari's, both with the same amount of power. One is driven by a Pro driver, the other by a novice. The pro wins, not because he had more power at hand but that he was trained in the utilization and delivery of said power. So power is not the skill, the skill lies with the individual.
Great power=assumed no skill

won every round with 3 knock downs, he was obviously carrying povetkin, and still nearly koed him with a gentle hook.
Im sorry maths and evidence show that im right.

Wladmirs or floyd Mayweathers? when did Wlad enter the extreme skill department? GGG seems a lot more skilled than WladmirComment

That's be because now the fighters that are active with big power are known for being a little crude sometimes and trying to load up with their shots. Fighters like Maidana, Matthysse, Thurman or Kovalev. Even though I think Matthysse is a better boxer than people give him credit for.
But fighters like Zarate, Hearns, and Foster all had devestating power and they were all technically sound. IMO Bob Foster would've knock Stevenson into another dimension. He'd probably handle everyone at 175 right now. And I'm not just saying that because he's from my hometown. He was one of the greatest LHW champions of all time. Tall and rangy at about 6'4" he had a huge right hand and great left hook.Comment

Kovalev doesn't load up on his shots. A lot of them look like quick arm punches but somehow still manages to have power on them.Comment

People fall in love with power. Just look how Lucas was hyped and he already lost twice. But I think both of them are pretty good and better than Lucas was. Same goes for ggg, he has the potential to suffer similar fateComment
