i see what you are saying but learning to use it effectively does creates power, shane mosley said floyd and canelo have similar power but of course canelo is more heavy handed but floyd skill compensates for that. so power can be a skill

On NSB, power punchers are extremely overrated.

power IS a skill because when we use the term power we are doing so with the understanding/connotation that the fighter in question has the skill to also LAND that power. There's guys out there that have power but can't land it and therefore suck like Edison Miranda or something. But these guys we're talking about don't just have power they have the skill to accurately keep landing it which is a major skill

I don't see Stevenson as being that skilled, his offense is based off that straight/ overhand left, he looked ******ed attempting the same punch all over and continuously missing. He needs to mix up his attack more. I'm still far more impressed with Kovalev.

Watt is a horrible commentator that hardly ever gets anything right anyway.

On NSB, "boxers" are overrated. Fools started jumping on the Sillakh bandwagon real quick. It's hilarious.

Me too, Stevnson looked like old Manny in there. A guy walking to his right hand, and all he could do was a jab and left hand. Adonis however to his credit has fought 4 times in a year so must be tired. He had to fight Bellew as Mandatory or lose his belt.

                    As for the TS.

                    Power is not always brawler.
                    Speed is not always skills.

What is sad is that a lot of fast athletic guys who rely on their body are called skilful.

MOST would not do what they could without their super fast hands, timing and reflexes. If they lost that then their 'skill' would be gone.
