Who the fuck is this red haired bitch and his team to dictate to Cotto? Fuck them. Fight Sergio and let's see him sell a PPV with Angulo as his opponent. I just hope whoever fights him next beats the shit out of this red haired hypejob.

The same two in a row Canelo fought but beat one at least, who Cotto lost to so IDK why people are bringing up Canelo's loss to Mayweather.
So Cotto got the bigger offer because Cotto needs Canelo? Canelo will wait until Cotto is damn good and ready to accept and if not, let's see him sell a PPV with someone else. Everyone says he is such a draw and everything, let's see him prove it. He has no right to tell Cotto how much time to take. He's got 4 months. Fuck him.

might mean nothing but cotto twitted a couple days ago about a cotto promotions/top rank card in a couple weeks. seems like he wouldn't be co-promoting with them if he was going with Golden Boy.

Forget about Alvarez. Let him fight Angulo first, then Lara, and be inflicted with massive amounts of punishment. Right now the level playing field is not even.

Alvarez will always be there for Cotto no matter what. Canelo needs Cotto badly.

Draw this, draw that, blah blah. Cotto is on his last legs and Canelo likely does higher PPV numbers with common opponents. He did it with Mayweather 1.5 vs 2.2 that's one proof, he'd sell more if he ever fought Pacquiao on PPV, he'd sell more with Martinez. Cotto is the more established draw, but Canelo is huge and can sell a PPV as good or better than Cotto can against the same opponents, he is a big draw and has more support from his Mexican fans than Cotto does from his PR fans at this point. If Cotto turns him down, Canelo might not get a big PPV name in his next fight but guess what, Canelo is 23 with his whole career ahead of him and Cotto may lose and all that "Top draw" stuff goes out the window along with his career on top.

Cotto should be thankful that Canelo will allow him to be his opponent. Cotto needs to get on his knees and suck on Canelo's ATG snake and show his gratitude.

How come that Canelo was in the undercard but Mayweather vs Cotto couldn't bring more that 1.5m
He was on the card so the number should have been similar.
or did Garcia vs Lucas helped?

Lucky for him he'll never actually have to prove it and get his ass beat by Pacquiao and Martinez on PPV. He's not the draw Cotto is, he doesn't have the subscription base with Showtime to outdraw Cotto on regular HBO or on PPV.

Who will Canelo fight next if he doesn't get Cotto? Won't be Lara, because he'll lose. Trout will have just lost to Lara. Angulo? Not much skill, slow, plodding, and coming off a loss? Sounds about right for a Canelo Alvarez PPV. Then who? Plenty of WW's he could cherrypick from to bring up to JMW. Then a big name for his last PPV, get completely dominated because he isn't that good, and we'll repeat the process all over again.

Good enough to beat Trout, some one Cotto wasn't good enough to beat.

We'll see who isn't that good if Cotto fights Canelo and gets beaten handily. It will be competitive, but he will get beat handily, and then we'll see who isn't that good.

You are angry and are now talking nonsense. What I say is the truth, Cotto doesn't have much left in the tank and he is only being used for his big name and fanbase. He is not going to beat any top 3 fighter, he never did at 154, and hasn't done so in years. To be exact, Cotto has not beaten a top 10 ranked fighter in 3 and a half years and hasn't beaten a top 3 fighter since 2009 when he got a gift against Clottey. From 2011-present, Canelo has beaten a #4 ranked fighter and #2 ranked fighter at 154. But he is not that good, just better than Cotto.

Continue on about PPV and drawing, Canelo is the future. 2.2Million PPV's sold in his last PPV, that is more PPV's sold than Cotto's last two PPV's combined(Mayweather 1.5 + Margarito II 600k).
