I don't see Kovalev being very outrageous with his monetary demands. I think it could be done for regular HBO if they got Donaire-Rigo done for WCB.

kovelev's people would be well suited to get paid appropriately.

smaller guys command much less money. they always have. stevenson can make a lot of money fighting poopkins and froch. to fight kovalev will take a lot of dough.

No way. Counter off the back foot with one or two shots at a time and make Kovalev walk to him. And keep the fight on the outside, tie him up when he closes the distance.

He didn't show a lot of variety, his offense comes in a limited package.

It's a lot easier to show variety when you have a guy standing in front of you. What variety did Rigo show when he faced a Rico Ramos who didn't want to engage? And we know Rigo has the goods.

the hbo program "real sports" is documenting the russian olympics. it would be easier if you could watch it. there was some poverty, some wladimir ***** swaggering, some talk of billions of government dollars going to shady contracts. the usual. ***** stole bob kraft's superbowl ring.

I think he'll get hurt by the first big shot that lands, he might go for broke after that or fall apart mentally. If he goes for broke it would be fun to watch.

Rigondeaux didn't do the same thing over and over again though, he just waited for his opportunity, he was economical. Regardless of the opponent it's pretty clear Stevenson is much more limited.

Who'd have thought Adonis Stevenson, a guy who wasn't really considered legitimate at 168 is the Lineal Champion at 175 and coming off 3 impressive KO's.

You couldn't write it. And that's what's so great about Boxing.

Would be a great fight to go to. You went to Froch-Kessler II right Dan? I'd imagine it would be on that level with the pins and needles of two 1 shot KO punchers to top it off.
