That's the ideal plan of attack. I think that Adonis would try and establish dominance early. After all, we still don't really know how well Kovalev absorbs punishment. Maybe he goes out there and tries to make a statement.Comment

Yeah went to Mayweather-Guerrero and Froch-Kessler this year.
Hoping to go to a few next year aswell hopefully if I can.
Someone's definitely getting knocked out in this fight. I think Stevenson might get an early lead but I ultimately think Kovalev catchs up to him and knocks him out.
I like both fighters to be honest.Comment

True that little guys do make less typically, but they didn't get paid typical SBW purses for that fight either. Didn't Rigo make $750,000? I know they put up $3 million total for Ward-Rodriguez, 2 M to Ward and 1 M to Rodriguez.
I think Stevenson is going to be told, more or less, you're not getting Hopkins on HBO and Froch isn't interested. Maybe the winner of Pascal-Bute, but I've read he and Pascal have said they won't fight because they're friends. I think 2 M to Stevenson and 1 M to Kovalev gets it done.
I'm not saying it's that simple obviously, but HBO has put up that kind of $$$ before for a fight they really wanted. They really want Stevenson-Kovalev. It might not be next, but I have no doubt it's happening in 2014.Comment

Yeah definitely agree with you there.
Tieing him up inside I think he could definitely win but I don't think he's got the ability. I've seen very little from him on the inside.Comment

Both are on good runs and they should strike while the Iron is hot.Comment

That would be good for us. Plus Kovalev's stamina hasn't been tested although he fights relaxed and at a measured pace so who knows if it will be an issue.Comment

I'm going to try to go to at least 3-4 next year as well. Cotto-Martinez or Canelo, Chavez Jr.-Vera card, mostly for LomoYeah went to Mayweather-Guerrero and Froch-Kessler this year.

I would consider a trip to Canada for this one. I've never been and I'd love to go to this one. Superman has grown into one of my favorites. He has a checkered past, but his style just appeals to me.
This taunting and hands at the waist won't fly against Kovalev. I'm sure Sugar Hill will make Adonis aware of that, but he does like to show off to lure his opponent in. Kovalev will make him pay for that.Comment

Well I can scratch that one off my match-up list. Ward should move up and fight the Bute/Pascal winner (if it's Pascal).True that little guys do make less typically, but they didn't get paid typical SBW purses for that fight either.
