This is a publicity-seeking move. What does his 2008 and 2009 tax returns have to do with him providing proof that he paid taxes on his fights from those years?

Death and taxes here to the core. We take from the rich and give to the poor. FREE!!!!!!!!!!
Did he give reporters a copy rf allow them to examine the tax returns? If not, those tax returns could have been someone else's for all you know. I did my taxes myself and printed them off too, but that means absolutely nothing. That doesn't mean that he paid what he owed or even that he submitted the returns because you can print a preliminary copy of your returns before you submit them.

Also, the issue is not whether he completed a tax return in the U.S. The issue is the fact that he has failed to get documentation from the IRS proving that he paid the taxes in 2008 and 2009. People like you always seem to forget or ignore this detail.

It has been five years. A large portion of that is likely penalties and interest on unpaid taxes. If he provides the BIR with proof from the IRS that he paid the taxes, he won't have to pay them a dime. Instead, he shows reporters his tax return from 2008-09. Who does that? It doesn't take two years to get a document from the IRS.

Dude is so worried about his image that he ain't even thinking straight. I really believe that Arum and Pacquiao think his fans will believe anything. For those who insist Manny is a victim of corruption. Collection agencies don't freeze assets and finances without reason. Vision Quest already said Pacquiao money was mismanaged. Funny after Arum had Manny fire them.

Right. Those could be Jinky's or Buboy's for all we know.

                    Exactly.

And Bob's response is ... "That's just re-god-damn-diculous. Everyone knows the IRS drags their feet when it comes to those requests.

He paid his taxes. Leave the kid alone."
