it's quite simple, they should just have pac sign an irs form 4506 and submit it to the irs. The irs will furnish a copy of his 2008/2009 tax returns and they'll see how much US taxes he declared. Get his 1099s from Top Rank for support as well as any bank statement proving payment. It's really fishy how things take so long for them to get this. Either there's something to hide or pac is just surrounded by complete idiots.

I think it's obvious that too many ignorant mother****ers on here only respect fighters that they can have some personal identity with instead of simply admiring the person's skills as a fighter.

If indeed this whole thing is legitimate, Pacquiao is naive for ever trusting a boxing promoter to take care of financial responsibilities that are his own. It just seems like so many fighters fall into this trap and it's a shame because of what they give to the sport, but they're fighters not rhodes scholars. This has probably been going on for awhile, behind the scenes and it's not really a liability for Arum because it's not his taxes. He can walk away from this and still milk Pacquiao for all he's worth until there's nothing left. This thing will get a whole lot worse before it gets better and I wouldn't be surprised if these two don't up going at it in court.
