You would think so right? Plus the fact they're asking for 50 million dollars in taxes for 2 years screams of corruption to me.

Last time anyone checked, the Philippines is not a communist country. So if a citizen earns money in another country, he/she is not obligated to transfer their earnings (after US taxes) to the Philippines, where the govt can tax it. Am I wrong in this?
