My arsee I watched the clip in slow mo, Forch throws around 8 punches and lands only 2, he was going for make or break and trying to bum rush Groves as nothing else was working

Groves was still on his feet moving away,, Forch backs off and side steps so it looks like he is behind Groves and pushes him and ref grabs Groves.

Groves was trying to move away from Froch and off the ropes, which was the right thing to do on Groves part

Ive seen Amir Khan hurt far worse and come back to win a fight, Groves wasn't doing the chicken dance, he was buzzed by one punch, but not to the point where his legs were buckling or stiffening. He had his sense to move away, still had use of his arms

If every fight were to be stopped like that, with some mystic meg ref who see's the future, boxing would be horrible to watch. Groves deserved to fight on, the fight was in his favour

I saw the video, that still doesn't explain why his back was turned unless Groves heard the ref's voice and acted on that. That whole sequence looked iffy to me, nothing that warranted the stoppage but still iffy. I don't see the bold though.

I didn't say that Froch was swinging wide...
I said that: "Practically, the ref chose to stop Groves -- during a wild brawl in which Groves missed some punches and Froch landed some punches..."
... Groves was missing big, while Froch was landing big -- but that was all what happened...

His back wasn't turned, he was on the ropes and moves forwards off the ropes, Froch moves back, side steps, nudges Groves, thus giving the illusion that Groves back was turned, when it was Froch who was standing at different angle as Groves is moving off the ropes.

You need to watch again or get ur eyes tested

Groves went limp mate. It was a bad stoppage but a couple more shots he'd have ended up Bute'd

... Some more of the brawl at the finish... Froch looked better overall... But not enough for a stoppage, in my opinion...

Sorry mate, but you have no proof of that

Groves was still standing, still moving and still had use of his arms and hands

Using Frochs past fights as an example is pointless because we can do the same for Groves who has been down before and got back up to win.
