I think Froch is after cashing out -- I said it here some days before...
As Froch lost the public support at home, I think he would rather cash out outside UK... In Canada or even in the U.S.

Really? Why doesn't he fight Stevenson who's been calling him out for years. Why doesn't he rematch the Champ (Ward) in the U.S. where that fight belongs (since when does the Champion travel to the challenger's backyard)? Why doesn't he fight Hopkins at the full 175 like Calzaghe did? No, he wants to drain him at a catchweight even though the man is almost 50...

And I would not be shocked if he didn't give Groves a rematch, although Hearns seems to be interested Froch sounds sounds reluctant... he knows he could very well lose that fight next time. I think he's still shell shocked from almost getting stopped in the first and almost dying in rds 6-7.

He's not wrong.

He started landing in round 8, Groves was visibly tiring and then he was going to stop him in the 9th before the ref stepped in.

Credit to Groves for the first half, but it was becoming a Froch fight from 7-9 and he had him in bad shape. The ref has cost Froch a clear win.

m not trying to take anything away from george, he's a great fighter and he proved he is able to get in the ring with top contenders and have success..
I see him having a better chance vs andre ward , as he doesnt possess the same punching power or punch resistance as carl does

wouldnt recommend a rematch though, carl will be more serious next time..could end up killing the guy!

I don't necessarily agree with what he's saying but I don't see what's all that wrong about it.

He had Groves badly hurt and would have teed off on him, who's to say what would have happened? Froch may truly believe he would have done serious damage to Groves.

Froch got hurt too, whos to say Groves wouldn't have teed off on him and knocked him out? don't forget Froch was the one that was sitting on his ass in the fight and he definitely was hurt, he got up and stumbled back into the ropes. If anything the ref possibly saved Frochs career.
