Adonis Stevenson was considered a no-name at the time with no significant wins. Kessler, a champion and one of the best fighters in the division who had beaten Froch. Let's not re-write history.

that absolutelly true, Groves had to fight against 4 men at one time. Referee knew that it is hard for corrupt judges to give rounds to Froch so he never took any point for those shots after the "break". I mean Froch was so desperate that the only chance he has to land in first half of the fight was those shots in clinch after comand "break". And it was very hard for Groves to clinch Froch, becouse he had to hold one hand near his head on defense stance becouse if he clich him with both hands, he would surely be hit with and elbow or 2-3 clean shots or even shots to the back of the head after referee says "break". So he was unable to follow his gameplan and clinch Froch inside, becouse Froch didn't care about the pocket referee and was hitting on every chance that he gets. Referee just asked asked and asked and asked plz plz plz plz stop the fight after "break" but he did nothing, by the way he was very quick to stop the fight when Groves took 2 shots and was still punching back and moving from the ropes.... what a clown referee. He earned his money though. As they say there is only one way to win against Froch in Britain - is to kill him in the ring, no other way is possible.

Froch recieved some obvious favoritism and it was arguably a case of obvious corruption, especially when you include the judges' scorecards.

That being said, I think Froch was on the way to a stopping him regardless.
