Golovkin would kill Froch at 168

GGG has not fought the best MW's out there which is not his fault what, makes you think he can take out a strong SMW like froch??

GGG is a normal sized MW. It's not like he is draining himself to make 160. A strong SMW like froch might be too big for him.

If that was GGG who landed 5, 6 right hands in a row on Froch, there wouldn't be time for the ref to fix anything. Let's be real here.

I just said the same thing in another thread. We have no empirical evidence to back that up but the eye test tells me GGG would beat the hell out of Froch.

Also we don't know who hits harder

Clearly Groves hits very hard to have done that to Froch
Froch got dropped by Taylor too, who has solid power but not a particularly big puncher. He also got wobbled by Dirrell. His chin is not iron, he just recovers quickly.

Golovkin is just as easy to hit as Froch, if not easier. He's slow, stiff, and easy to hit, unlike Groves who is fast, agile, and had great head movement. Every time Froch had him on the ropes he'd slip his punches quite easily, GGG can't do that.

It's the main reason I don't think GGG has a chance at 168, most guys that move up generally have the reflexes of a smaller man and that helps them tremendously, not GGG though.

Why do people only talk about the shots Golovkin throws and never the ones he takes? Stevens showed he's not that hard to hit, we've no idea how he takes a shot from a world class SMW.

Froch was shockingly easy to hit, with bombs too

Golovkin is better than Groves in every aspect (speed, power, jab, accuracy, ring IQ, chin) and he wouldn't put himself in a vulnerable position against predictable Froch. I'm not saying it would be an easier fight than Martinez, but I just don't see GGG having any serious problems against Froch, if they ever met.

A lot of people were saying GGG wouldn't beat Froch after the Stevens fight, but what do yall reckon now?

I'd actually put half my bank account on Golovkin if this fight was ever made.
How can you call groves a journeyman? I knew the fight would be more competitive than most thought, groves is very talented and would out box hype-machine golovkin, groves would be way too slick for him, Did you see those skills? or were you watching a different fight.

Froch has a granite chin, but it's getting touched way too much lately.
It's the only reason he lasted as long as he did tonight.

At this point in Froch's career, he needs to avoid GGG at all costs. Take a Groves
rematch, make some money, then **** Rachael Codpiece into the sunset.
