Golovkin would kill Froch at 168

So, Froch just got dropped and was getting his ass handed to him by a journeyman.

His defense - upstairs and downstairs - just has too many holes to save him from Golovkin's deadly head-body-head combinations. Golovkin is better than Groves in every aspect (speed, power, jab, accuracy, ring IQ, chin) and he wouldn't put himself in a vulnerable position against predictable Froch. I'm not saying it would be an easier fight than Martinez, but I just don't see GGG having any serious problems against Froch, if they ever met.

A lot of people were saying GGG wouldn't beat Froch after the Stevens fight, but what do yall reckon now?

I'd actually put half my bank account on Golovkin if this fight was ever made.

EDIT: BTW, Froch wouldn't have a damn chance against Ward in a rematch.

I'm considering whether Golovkin would win that fight much more than I was 2 hours ago.

We don't even know if Golovkin hits harder at SMW than Groves.

Father time is slowly catching up with Froch if he fights GGG next year... could spell trouble!

Froch would need to survive 8-9 rounds to have any chance of winning. That's not happening. GGG would finish him and end his career. Worst possible fight for Froch as he doesn't go down easily and we all know how hard Gennady hits.

With respect Triple G is not faster than Groves

Also we don't know who hits harder

Clearly Groves hits very hard to have done that to Froch

Groves vs Triple G now that would be a fight

I've always thought Golovkin would have a real shot at Froch, but you're also selling Groves short - he came out extremely sharp and determined early but due to the referee, we'll never know if he was putting on a career high performance or if he was simply a front runner to be KOd late.

I'm still not sure about his chances. One thing is for sure though, Froch can be touched (a lot). Groves did pretty well with his jab, even-though he was at a reach disadvantage. GGG would be at an even further physical disadvantage and he's yet to fight at 168, and he isn't as athletic as Groves. However, GGG's overall experience could probably be the difference in getting the victory.

...or more importantly, how he takes a shot at 168. He doesn't move like Groves that's for sure.

I picked Golovkin but really, it's wild speculation at this point.
