I put money on a Groves decision win and stood to win nearly £200. It was all going so well......
Really disappointing. If they rematch the bookies will shorten the odds considerably next time.Comment

just asked a question man. btw i wasnt rooting for any of these clowns. this is called boxing people are always going to get hit and hurt you know damn well that groves was no where near being seriously hurt. there are so many fighters that have taken much more punishment. the way you see it your boy cotto would have 4 or 5 more loses if you think this should have been stoped, he always takes a lot of punishment. froch was much more hurt in the first then groves was, should the fight have been stoped then?Again read my reply to the other dude who thought I was comparing the two fights..and if I didn't watch the fight why would I be here defending a ref making a stoppage? Just because the guys most people wanted to win didn't get the win it doens't mean he lost, he won because he wasn't left damaged good. The funny thing is had the ref let it go and Groves ends up in a hospital all you folks would be in here screaming that it should've been stopped. He gets a chance to rematch or continue his career which is more than other fighters have gotten when fights aren't stopped. If you can accept a stoppage when it suits the boxer you support or bet on be man enough to accept a stoppage when it doesn't favor you or your pick. It's damn if the ref's stop a fight and damn if they don't.Comment

Blatant robbery. Horrific actually. Jobbed. How many many more times is froch gonna get flaky wins?Comment

Guess a Youtube fight is in my near future. Won't be the 1st time Froch has either gotten lucky or and/or grabbed a win from the jaws of defeat at the last sec.Comment

Howard you are a complete b a s t a r d for robbing groves who was a way to a win and an upset.Comment

Before tonight I wouldn't have. But now... I think Froch would be another good boy. I didn't give Groves a chance, but he impressed. Can't really blame Froch for the bad stoppage, and he was on his way to a W; but I hate that it ended that way. GGG>Froch,, hope it happens.Comment

Froch is the most overrated fighter in boxing. The fact that he appears on P4P lists is beyond laughable. The only thing close was the hype train surrounding Matthysse before Garcia cut that bull**** short. But even he wasn't as overrated as this clown.
That said, I think Froch would give GGG a tough fight for 4-5rds. For all his limitations, Froch is a rugged, tough guy. And he's naturally bigger and stronger than GGG. That said, GGG appears to have that rare, bone crushing, concussive power. That Tommy Hearns power. That Joe Louis power. That George Foreman power. Power we haven't seen since a primed Tito. And any fighter that is as easy to hit as Froch is. And who takes as many flush blows as Forch does. Its just a matter of time before GGG seperates them from their senses. Froch makes a decent account of himself. But GGG brutally stops him somewhere around the 6th, maybe sooner.Comment

No decent fighter would come to the UK now as this premature stoppage happens all the time - last nights fight and more recently the Burns last fight stinks, I am a big fan of Tommy Oosthuizen and people keep telling me Tommy ducked Froch as he was offered the fight but Oosthuizen's camp as said they will never fight Froch in the Uk because of hometown decisions and last night FIGHT just proved it even fighters from the Uk get robbed at home against Froch. If Froch still insists on a Ward rematch which after last performance would be a bad idea as a injury free Ward would destroy Froch then this will not now happen in the Uk = British Boxing just shot itself in the foot, Mayweather/ Ward will not happen here now and I don't blame them.Comment
