Ward is the main man at 168 but yes its not totally cleaned out as there will always be contenders and prospects coming but rightfully so Ward would be more highly rated because we have only the fights that have taken place to go on due to Ward> Froch>Bute and the two winners won pretty handily on top of that.

Who knows if Bute beats Pascal maybe Ward will go for that Canada PPV money and fight Bute at 175.

      I guess in technical sense

But Froch ran Bute out of 168. Next fight, he struggles against a 12 fight Grachev for the NABF title at LHW. Whom Wards opponent this weekend knocked out in 1 round.

      I love triangle theories....

Not really as we can see he was clearly tko'd and any unbiased ref would have not given Bute the 40 count but after losing to Ward Kessler went on to have a good close win over Froch and a somewhat good win in highlight ko fashion over Green.

I wanted to see Bute v Ward, such an intriguing fight. Bute can box, and Ward wouldn't run Bute down like Froch did.

I agree that Ward is the man at 168;i never disputed that. The point i was making is that Ward didn`t clean out 168.

But regardless,Bute avenged it by beating Andrade in the rematch.

Yes your right and with some prospects now the division isn't cleaned out yet and may never be which is good for fans if viable opponents are ready to challenge for the title, we don't need more divisions like Klitschko land though in regards to Bute he is irrelevant as a Ward opponent now until he re-establishes or should I say actually establishes himself in the first place as world class.

Allan Green is not a good win, it's a tune up (especially at the time) same goes with Bouadla and Magee...

Don't nitpick just to be combative, it was an ok to somewhat good win because he got rid of him in a hurry and by a 1 punch ko.

He defeated a significant portion of the top guys in the division to constitute "cleaning out" the division. I don't believe he has to literally face each guy in the top 10-15; that's would be burdensome and a waste of fight(s) for Ward.
