Ward did not clean out his division

Why are people keep saying Ward cleaned out his division?Did i somehow miss Ward vs Bute?Bute was the IBF 168 pound champ.Ward never fought Bute.Just because Ward beat Froch and Froch beat Bute, that does not mean Ward should be given credit for something that Froch did, which was beat Bute, nor does it mean Ward cleaned out his division. The only fighter Bradley needed to fight at 140 to clean out 140 was Khan.Bradley never fought Khan but Bradley beat Lamont Peterson who went on to beat Khan, does that mean Bradley cleaned out 140?I don`t hear anybody saying:"oh man,Bradley clean out 140,he takes on all comers".

Let me give ya`ll an example of what`s cleaning out a division:When Tyson won all three major titles in the 80`s by beating Trevor Berbick;James "Bone Crusher" Smith and Tony Tucker,Hopkins winning all three major titles at middleweight by beating Segundo Mercado;Keith Holmes and Trinidad(And Hopkins also went on to beat former champion Joppy and "WBO champion" Oscar Dela hoya which was a bonus),Winky Wright;because he beat Angel Hernandez for the IBF belt and Shane Mosley for the WBA and WBC belts.

Bute is now a LHW and will never go back to 168 but your point remains as he did not beat king Robert Stieglitz.

Bute moved up, Ward is still at 168. Only name he hasn't taken out is Stieglitz.

People been saying Ward cleaned out the division before Bute moved up to light heavyweight.

Bute had a belt but had not really fought anyone who mattered so was largely unproven and if anything exposed in Andrade 1 who Kessler easily beat before Bute fought him.

I knew you people were gonna say Bute moved up to light-heavy so that justifies saying Ward cleaned out the division.Bute did not even fight at lightheavy yet,And people been saying Ward clean out the division ever since Froch beat Bute

So its like they basically gave Ward credit for something Froch did

Well they were wrong. Ward still hasn't cleaned out the division.

People will say Danny Garcia has cleaned it out too, but he hasn't beaten Provodnikov (or Peterson).

Who did Kessler beat when Ward fought him?Kessler best win at the time Was Andrade. And Bute had a rematch with Andrade and beat Andrade clearly in the rematch by stopping him,so that ended the controversy of the first fight between Bute and Adrade.
