I would have liked to see him fight. But him retiring could give Wilder a chance to Ice Fury first so it could be good for the division.

All you have to do is look at Haye's heavyweight run over the past few years to see he was joking all along.

He never fought his way to a fight with Wladamir, he talked himself into it. So many fell for his hype. I certainly didn't.

He has never had confidence in his ability over cruiser. In fact if you look past his fight with Wlad, his heavyweight resume is a joke compared to Fury's. Tyson has at least fight some live bodies.

Well Lets See. Fury has fought some veterins and some undefeated prospects. Actually Fury fought a few of them as he gained experience moving up.

                Chisora (when he was undefeated)
                Pajkik (still a prospect)
                Cunningham ( live fighter)
Kevin Johnson (Semi washed up old contender with blood still flowing)

                Now Lets look at Wlad
Monte Barrett (semi washed up, but still had some blood flow)
Valuev (a complete joke who even a washed up Holyfield beat)
Ruiz (one foot in the grave)
                Harrison (LOL)
Chisora (but only after getting beat multiple times before hand.)

When has Haye taken a risk at Heavy? Find a risky fighter besides WLAD for me. Even an undefeated prospect?

I believe a 40+ year old Vitali is more dangerous stylistically for him. He had the opportunity to fight him in 2012 but he refused. Haye is simply wasted talent and a joke.

Its sad we cant see him knocking out Fury and shut him up for good.
Fury is in serious need of an solid ass-whooping and Haye would have been the perfect guy to do it.
