Sergio is happy fighting Cotto or Canelo? Why? Aren't both of them 154lbs?Isn't he the Middleweight Champ? Isn't GGG a Middleweight Champ?

Sergio better be carefull that Cotto or Canelo don't run after him and catch him. Does he want the junior division guys to move up to 160?
Why theres a perfectly healthy 160 waiting!!!

If anyone argues that this Sergio fellow isn't ducking GGG you really need some help!
Sergio's biggest win was against a welterweight years ago, and his biggest loss was too! Since then he's done nothing but cherrypicked and his last opponent beat him and got screwed in his backyard!

Sergio needs to get ready for the B-movie career he wants and just retire because he really has nothing to offer anymore. He didn't have much to begin with. Ray

Cherry picking at it's finest. Only *those* posters who are fans of their cherry pickers respect this move.

Lmao! U mad bro? This puto dibella has sand in his vagina. Reason Sergio isn't on hbo's pound for pound list is cause he got a gift decision against Murray...and now he wants to put his fighter in against two jr middleweights? Not a good look for the "lineal" champ. GGG ****s on Sergio easily.

One word -- money. Dibella explained that... money.

GGG deserves the fight, but I understand Dibella's stance business wise.

He wants these fights, but when he doesn't get them Sergio will end up fighting another nobody instead of Golovkin, and very few will call him out on it. That's been the pattern for the last three years, anyway.

DiBella: "**** (insert name here) I'm looking for money fights. (insert name here) isn't a draw.

Fights Darren Barker and Matthew Macklin.

Apparently any fighter and/or their promoter can say, "I won't fight whatever dangerous contender the fans want to see because I want money fights," and people will be okay with it.

                  EXACTLY!!!....this is crazy!!

On one hand I can understand Dibella but then the bigger picture makes him sound like he's part of the crowd who's counting his fighter out!!

So Dibella wants Martinez to fight two 154lbs, while making Golovkin go up to 168 and fight Ward. I understand the money factor but this dude is deathly afraid of GGG. It's sad how much they don't want this fight.

Comparing Martinez vs. Cotto/Canelo to Cotto/Mayorga? really?

We expect this type of talk from the promoter, but Martinez knows better. He knows that as long as 3G remains relevant, he'll have to confront him in the ring. GGG is being built up right now and everything is going smooth, just keep winning and the Martinez fight will happen. Martinez has the title that really matters, the lineal belt. When it comes to negotiating time, HBO and K2 have to make Martinez a phenomenal offer. GGG is the future of the HBO boxing, so they need to start speaking with their wallet. They've been spoiled this past year with 3G's busy schedule and relatively low salary.

Maybe HBO should put Martinez and 3G on the same card, start building this match-up. Cotto/Martinez as the main event with GGG vs. Murray/Barker/Chavez/Lee/Rubio as the co-main.
