PPL have no idea how PPV works in here do they?

Being a fatass on a saturday and tuning in to HBO for boxing does not equate to spending 60 bucks on a "hardcores only" match like Golovkin Martinez

Martinez should go after Cotto, but enough of this **** chasing Canelo. GGG is with HBO, he has to fight GGG after Cotto.

Its ok to say "I'm a fan of the sport, I don't care about the business side, I just want to see the best fights". Cool. I'm in the same boat. I don't care about the business side but I don't blind myself to the facts either.

But trying to say GGG can draw the same or more in Gate Revenue and PPV upside as Cotto and Canelo is ridiculous.
Well read their posts, i'm accused of having a Master's degree for doing simple algebra. We aren't debating with the sharpest minds here.

If Golovkin is so important to HBO they need to make Martinez an offer he can't refuse. Even if it costs them a bit upfront if Golovkin is going to be a huge star for them they can make that up (and more) over the next few years.

Now they obviously want the Cotto fight to happen and there is more money/interest there than a Sergio-Golovkin fight. If Cotto happens to win do you think he is going to want to jump in with Golovkin and even if Sergio wins why would he be in a rush to face Golovkin since he would have just done HBO a solid they will reward him.

HBO really doesn't care about Golovkin being the man because he is drawing interest knocking out second and third rate fighters~

If martinez wants to fight canelo on PPV on showtime I would love to see GGG fight chavez jr. on a HBO PPV on the same night and see where the numbers fall.

I reckon triple G could be a bigger draw than martinez right now if matched in a tough fight.

Please bro.....you go find me a video, any ******** video that has Martinez saying he doesn't want a fight with Golovkin. You won't find one, maybe one that says the fight needs to build but never one that says he doesn't want the fight.

You keep taking a promoter's words as the words of the fighter they represent when it suits your agenda.

Well, simple arithmetic is an esoteric concept seldom comprehended, much less mastered.

He spent his 20s and most of his 30s trying to land money fights in order to live a happy 40s-70s.

Why that **** would he ruin this by taking on a challenge such as GGG? He likely has 1-2 more fights in him. He's will not and should not go by what GGG fanboys say.

Sergio deserves the money. He's cashing out as he should. GGG should worry about building his star like Sergio did: the hard way.

This is how boxing works. You earn the big money fights and then you squeeze them or you'll end up like Mosley fighting in your 40s in Yucatan.

The funny thing is that Sergio was in GG's position, getting the support from fans, wanting to see him get the big money fights, saying he deserves a few pay days before he retires. Martinez fights the dangerous fights, Pavlik, Williams, Dzinzuruk (unknown, low pay, and not the fight Martinez wanted), followed by some gimme fights that turned out tougher than expected, Barker, Macklin, Murray. Now Martinez's past and proven record, as well as his age and position at 160 is paying off, guys aren't afraid to fight him anymore cause he's old. Now these ****riders want to call him a ducker and want to see him take a step backwards and leave big money on the table for peanuts.
