Larry of course its a **** fight. Rios has no business in a fight with Manny. He hasn't earned it. He's there to mak manny look like the old manny.

But given that Macau is looking to become a hoted for boxing and manny got KTFO by JMM, you can understand both financially and professionally why the fight was made.

But I agree with you, it would be nice to see manny fight another ww at some point. I'm tired of seeing him fight JWW's and/or LW's moving up.

When you're the big money fighter you can PICK and choose who you want to fight. Yes, this is a cherrypick. Yes, Floyd's done the same. Everything you dumb fools accuse Floyd or Manny of doing aren't realizing that your favorite fighter does the same.

This is a horrible matchup, but so was Ramos vs JMM, DLH vs Forbes and many others. Get over it. I'm not watching this fight just like I didn't bother with Floyd vs Guerrero

lol @ people saying they wont watch a Manny Pacquiao fight because Brandon Rios is the opponent.

you people are imbeciles. Pacquiao is the face of boxing and everything he does is scrutinized and put in headlines.

His fight last year, albeit getting KTFO was the FOTY.

This is a fan friendly fight, one with lots of guaranteed action.

Anyone who says they wont watch is obviously a snobbish elitist clown.

You are comparing this to LIKAR RAMOS and JMM?

          LOL.....you gotta be kidding me

Rios is not an elite boxer, but who is considered elite nowadays at 140-147?

          Nobody!!!!

LOL....140 is stacked, the guy Rios lost to just lost himself. That tells you that nobody at 140-147 has distinguished themselves.

Is Timmy Bradley suddenly elite because he beat up an old ass fat Mexican?

          LOL...GTFOH

I'm gonna enjoy this fight between Rios and Pac, no running all action.

Yep, fighting the Lineal Champion who had not lost a fight in almost 10 years is a "cherry pick."

What do you expect? Its his come back fight.

You say it like Mayweather doesn't cherry pick. They both do and have both earned the right to.

Even more to your point, both of these fighters were coming off probabl the bestwins of their careers in fight of the year candidates. Yes Rios s coming of a fight of the year candidate as well, but that was in a loss
