He really needs to take note of his public image at this point and shut the **** up. Even people who defend him will get sick of this rubbish after every damn fight.

I think Donaire needs to take a long break and decide if he really wants to do this any more. If he still wants to fight he'll come back. If not, then he can hang them up knowing he had a great career.

I agree, it's a poor excuse from Donaire. But who knows, maybe it's true. I doubt it though. And I'm not sure if Robert can make him any better.

In the case of Floyd, it was different because during fight week, there was footage of him blowing his nose on camera more than once, and on another day during a presser, his voice was obviously hoarse. Dan Rafael straight up asked him on camera if he's feeling 'under the weather.' It was so obvious. But Floyd tried to deny it, said he just got up.

I'll never forget when Donaire took his gloves off to reveal his hand after a fight. Even after winning he makes excuses...that threw me off right away from this guy. He aint, wont and never will be Pacquiao. He said he would rsther be the first Donaire, but that would just being someone who was good and not legendary

Yup, Montiel was P4P Top 10 at the time and Donaire brutally KO'd him in round 2.

If that were true and I mean IF that were true, yeah that would explain a lot and I'd have major respect for him getting the job done when he had to and he had his back to the wall. But I don't know what to think. It really is always something with this guy.
