Not to mention Max helping by using more complicated English than he needs to with a non native speaker.

Astute point about Max...he uses 60 words to ask a 10 word question.

Ever heard of a guy called Wladimir Klitschko? he's a white heavyweight champion of the world.

It's probably Ducketts, he's vanished after GGG Stevens, then made a super bitter post yesterday and got lost again

GGG has a crowd pleasing style and is mild-mannered.

Like somebody said earlier... he doesn't have the same exciting style as Pacquio who's quick and throws flurries. He doesn't have the same ethnic following Canelo has with the Mexicans considering their presence here in the U.S and Mexico being right below the U.S.

He comes forward and beats ass... how the hell did he get so popular so fast? There are plenty of other fighters who come forward and beat ass too and they're not pulling in these kind of numbers.
Because he's good and has tremendous power. Mainstream american fans are pretty good at recognizing offensive skills and everybody loves a puncher. And on top of that the middleweight division is pretty famous, so all it takes is one guy at the bar going "Hey there's this new middleweight who keeps knocking everybody out" and word of mouth will take care of the rest.
