I'd be happy with him or Burgos since I thouht Burgos beat Martinez.

If his chin fails him against a world class boxer he might be finished.

Yes. Mikey is the real deal. I've been sleeping for a while but I'm a believer now. He's got the tools to be great.

I understand that he's improved since Quintero. But, he still had no business struggling with him.

You didn't see the struggle with Ponce? From what I see that's clearly a fight in which he struggled badly and arguably lost.

I'll give the benefit of the doubt on Pauli but the fact remains he looked pretty bad against a both average and faded opponent.

Mikey on the other hand is dominating or stopping his similar level opponents in impressive fashion.

There is no way that Broner can be higher than Mikey on the P4P list. I'd love to hear an explanation from the people who do.

Garcia is a much better fighter than broner,,,

Broner is a much better personality than garcia

Broner has skills, no doubt, but garcia is operating at a very high level right now and his wins over salido and rocky are better than any of broner's wins with the exception of the demarco fight,,, broner looked like the goods in that one,,,, I do think we will see that broner vs maidana,, alot of people are writing off broner, but i think broner has the tools and the motivation to put a whooping on maidana

I do think garcia's career will look alot like his brothers,,, he will be champ and earn high praise but eventually we will meet his "corrales" and be put to sleep

seriously, if it was broner who got put on his ass, this forum would be flooded with threads about him being a glass chinned bum. thats a fact. i never said mikey was crap. i really expected an easy win from him. martinez is a decent title holder, but thats it. i was surprised by the knockdown honestly, its not as if i was nitpicking. it happened and to me, it exposes mikeys huge flaw. he takes a while to get started. i dont think its a stretch to say that opening round knockdowns are gonna be something he experiences in the future unless that changes. with that said, yes he weathered the storm and came back strong. but lets not mince words here, if that was broner, all hell would break loose.
