This is exactly what's wrong with this forum. A fighter can put on an amazing performance but if he faces any adversity whatsoever, there are roaches scrambling to pick away at him. Mikey put on an extraordinary performance and consistently does so. His level of competition has been more meaningful than Broners and the Maidana cherry pick won't change that.
If anyone has Broner top 10 pfp, shouldn't they have Mikey higher??

The truth is that both are not currently deserving top 10 p4p status due to their resumes.
But both of them will be and should be battling in the top 5 soon enough.
Brilliant, skilled talents that are hard to separate in terms of skill.
But given the internet, theres no room for logic so keep arguing in circles.Comment

Most times you're an excellent poster, but this?? This is bull$h1t. Keep this kind of crap out my treads. It is absolutely ******ed to blame Rican's for Broner's popularity.Comment

Yu are 100% correct Bush. I'll take it futrther.
Broner and GGG do not belong anywhere in the top 10 p4p. Both Garcias, Danny and Mikey, deserve to be there ahead of both.Comment

I won't argue with any of that. But I get the feeling GGG is more than willing and has tried to fight the other top middleweights. So I won't blame him for the guys he's faced. If it were up to him, I'm sure Martinez and Chocolate would have already gotten it.Comment

Green K coming. Whenever a fighter wins a tough fight thats somehow a bad thing here on NSB.This is exactly what's wrong with this forum. A fighter can put on an amazing performance but if he faces any adversity whatsoever, there are roaches scrambling to pick away at him. Mikey put on an extraordinary performance and consistently does so. His level of competition has been more meaningful than Broners and the Maidana cherry pick won't change that.
Where I'm from, winning a tough fight says more about a fighter than a loss or a blowout win does.Comment
