I'm not so convinced, he may have taken a bus to the fairy and then a car or train. Lol

Now Roy travels to Russia for paydays and gets punished and embarrassed ~ damn shame he didn't make a media event of fighting in the UK ten years ago and silence Calzaghe as I believe he would have. I cannot hold it against Calzaghe that the top champions of 2000-2003 didn't really want to face him when they were at the peak because I believe he would have accepted any offer they and HBO Boxing would have made.
Now when Roy is no longer on top, he is forced to travel to earn a living. Before, he was the attraction. 1997-2004 Roy was the star. Period.

I wouldnt argue with the fact Vitali had the RING belt, he sure did. He wasn't regarded lineal universally however, no matter if you claim "experts" are on your side or not. It's split, and therefore not that legitimate. It's not as if it takes anything from Vitali, he's had a great career in my eyes and wish him the best.

If it makes it easier, compare Martinez' lineal reign to Vitali's. There's no split as to who the lineal middleweight champion is.

Besides, if you want to admire the RING belt, go ahead

Eubank,(past his best obv) Kessler, Lacy, Hopkins, bika etc and compare it to the best wins on vits resume and it's clear who has the better record.

(But of course with some people you could compare ali's resume to vits and they would claim that a win over Herbie Hide is better than a win over George Foreman so really it's not worth discussing it with them)

A better question would be comparing vits resume to sven otke rather than calzaghe ... of course vits fans would go crazy at that but if you actually look it it his career is far more in line with somebody like that. Paper champ never beat the best in the division beat a load of contenders etc etc
              You are incorrect.

Vitali's loss to Lewis was better than Ali's win over Foreman. The Herbie Hide win was better than both of Ali's wins over Frazier combined. Everyone knows that.

Vital wouldnt have ducked Glenn Johnson 3x or cherrypicked Hopkins and Jones when they lost their speed

Lol, you do know how lineage is re-established after the actual lineal champ retires, right? Please tell me you do, otherwise this conversation is for not. The way you are looking at it is that he lost to Lennox and lost the oportunity to carry lineage, I assume. Well, if that's the case, the heavyweight lineage ended a long ass time ago.

Oh, and I admire the true heavyweight champ after Lennox, which is Vitali. Obviously. I'm not sure what you don't get about that really. It's not such a tough thing to comprehend, is it?

Yea, and Ali's loss to Frazier after his comeback, with a tuneup, was better than Vitali's close call win over Sam Peter in his comeback without a tuneup.

I see what you mean man, I mean really
