What about when Murat had his back to Hopkins and the ref said break and 3 seconds later Hopkins punched him in his back?

      Yet he said nothing.

The ref was clearly biased it's as clear as day.

Doesn't matter because it wouldn't make a difference because Mu**** a joke but the fact remains.

He did better than Cloud because Hopkins would never fight that way against Cloud.

Mu**** terrible he's never legitimately beaten a top fighter and was dominated and stopped by Cleverly.

I thought it was an entertaining fight,,,,

Hopkins opened up and we had some action

Murat is nothing special, but he came to win and tried hard, wasnt like he just came for the paycheck,,, Hopkins was just better,,,

very dirty fight, smoger didnt do a good job IMO,, but it was dirty on both sides so i dont think it was a big deal,,,,

Hopkins has clearly lost a few steps,,, I know he is ancient in boxing, but he is nowhere near the level he was at for the pascal, clazaghe, pavlik fights,,,, I think hopkins needs to stay away from stevenson, kovolav, ward, froch,,,,, I think he gets humbled if he fights a legit guy,, The only name guy i can see him beating up would be chavez jr, but i doubt that fight happens,,,

Hopkins has had a great career, but he needs to retire as champ,,,,,,

Only comeback next year for superfights vs smaller guys coming up,,,,

            floyd vs hopkins 160
hopkins vs quillen 175 but quillen brings no money

If hopkins cant land fights like those, then he needs to retire,,, Murat was able to land alot, and if that was kovolev or stevenson or froch, i think hopkins would be in serious trouble,,,
Hopkins one of my all time favorites, but he needs to pull a lennox lewis and get out while he can,, retire with a belt

lol no surprise you're complaining you were complaining hard before the card and made up your mind.

I'm not saying Murat is a great fighter but the Cleverly stoppage was BS and he did give Campillo a tough ass fight and the rematch could have gone either way. He hurt Campillo several times.

Of course I had made up my mind. Everyones mind should have been made up from the day this fight was signed its a joke which it was.

Who hasn't hurt Campillo? Campillo isn't very good himself he was overrated after beating Cloud who's terrible.

Cleverly stoppage wasn't a good one but he was getting dominated which speaks for itself really.

This is idiotic logic right here. You know how many times I thought I was about to watch a bad fight and then it turns into a ****er? You never know what's going to happen in the right. Hopkins-Murat was entertaining, most people agree. Check twitter, facebook, the forums, etc.

Campillo is/was a good fighter. I never really seen him hurt before Murat. And it wasn't that Murat hurt him, he arguably beat him in the rematch.

And Cleverly isn't a bad fighter either. Murat is a tough durable guy. Limited skills but tough. So when you say he was stopped by Cleverly you make it seem like he was KO'd, which he wasn't. It was one of those classic calzaghe stoppages.

Regardless, last night was a good card. Main event was entertaining, Quillin-Rosado was pretty close with drama and Wilder got another KO as expected. Great night

Nothing to do with entertainment value.

The fight was much more entertaining than I was expecting but that doesn't mean it wasn't a joke of a fight which it has been since the day it was signed.

I was just responding to you saying he hurt him like that means something. Every time Campillio fights someone that can punch at all he gets hurt

He's not good. Never has been never will be.

Second fight was definitely razor close. Still, Mu**** never legitimately beaten anyone decent.

Cleverly is decent and that's at very best. Getting dominated by him speaks for itself like I said. If you're dominated by Cleverly you're obviously not a very good fighter.

I don't make it seem like it was a KO at all I make it seem like he was stopped which he was. Wasn't a good stoppage but he was still stopped.

Wouldn't say it was a good card, decent card better than expected in regards to action.

                    Still completely predictable.

                    Wilder ko's bum

                    Quillen-Rosado decent competitive fight

                    Hopkins dominates bum

What pretty much everyone was expecting.

Hopkins is basically a sideshow attraction at this point -- amazing physical specimen but essentially irrelevant -- the fact that people are saying how much more aggressive he was last night than usual indicates their level of expectation for him -- he'll never fight a legitimate top tier guy again for obvious reasons -- sanctioning bodies enable him by feeding him so-called 'mandatories' like Murat who no one ever heard of and is basically a B level guy -- for the last 10 years or so Hopkins has more or less stunk out every arena he's been in, win lose or draw -- also has become a sneaky, dirty fighter in the process
